Fake nail fun 2
Another picture of the fake nails I've been painting recently to keep myself occupied. Some of these are from the previous picture that have been updated, some left alone, and a lot of new ones.
From left to right:
First row: The original two wedding designs, and the oil slick color updated by painting it in the "Ruffian" manicure style. I just discovered the Ruffian this afternoon.
Second row:
The same emerald and white zebra print as the previous.
The champagne color updated also in the Ruffian style.
A nail with something like 7 or 8 coats of glitter nail polish.
Third row:
Neon pink with a clear UV reactive french tip on it.
A Yin/Yang design with the black part being UV reactive, and the green part being glow in the dark.
Tri-colored Del Sol glitter look that changes from red, silver, and blue to purple, red, and green (polish names: Heart Breaker, Ruby Slippers, and Rock Star).
Fourth row:
A modern black and white design topped with another Del Sol nail polish that is clear inside and turns red in the sun (Peek-A-Boo).
A tester nail of Del Sol's Island Fever.
Another Ruffian manicure, to go with the silver and black one below it. I wanted to see which combo was better. I also tested an iridescent color on the tip to see how it showed up over black.
Fifth row:
My own nail polish franken of Sally Hansen's Blue it, and ORLY's Shine On Crazy Diamond, topped with a UV reactive topcoat.
A test of a design I was thinking about. I don't like it.
Another test nail I layered 3 different colors to achieve this color.
Sixth row:
A tester nail of Sephora By OPI's I'm With Brad.
A black nail topped with a couple coats of ORLY's Shine On Crazy Diamond.
A blue nail with an attempt at the orange paint drip design. It was a failure.
A tester nail of my 3 different glitter polishes over black.
